Who is Doni for?
Anyone in Nigeria who earns a living and keeps their work on WhatsApp: traders and online sellers, tailors and fashion designers, hair and beauty, food sellers and bakers, artisans, riders and drivers, freelancers, students, and salary earners, with a business on the side or without one. If you sell, Doni makes your price lists, posters and Status videos. If you have customers, it writes the quotation, the invoice and the message for the one who hasn't paid. Everyone gets reminders, expense records and minutes from voice notes. Doni does not take payments or message your customers; you send everything yourself. It records what you spend, not who owes you, so set a reminder for each balance.
Will it answer any question I ask?
Some. Doni answers up to 20 quick questions a day in WhatsApp, and more in the computer version. It is not a general chat bot: it handles reminders, records, documents, recordings and shop media, and it will say so plainly when something is outside what it does. A tool that does a short list of jobs properly, not a talking machine that does everything badly.
Do I need to download anything or open an account?
No. Save the number +234 915 326 4893, or scan the QR code at the top, and send a message. There is no app, no sign-up form, no password and no card required.
What does it cost?
Nothing, unless you choose to pay. Chat, reminders, records, translation (Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo included), documents and basic pictures are free with basic models. Every new account gets 4,000 tokens for premium pictures, videos and in-depth documents; while you have tokens, each message Doni sends you uses a few as well (reactions are free), and a daily limit applies to tokens. WhatsApp has a monthly message limit: once it is reached, accounts without tokens get one notice a day and continue free at getdoni.com/app or on Telegram.
Can Doni see my other chats?
No. Doni only ever sees the messages you send to its own number, exactly like any other contact in your phone. It cannot read your other conversations, your groups or your contact list, and it never sends WhatsApp messages to anyone on your behalf.
What happens when I connect my Gmail?
Doni asks Google only for what you use: Gmail (to read, and to send drafts you approve) and the calendars you own. It uses that only when you ask ("check my email", "my calendar today"), plus a count in your morning brief, and reminders for upcoming events only if you say "calendar reminders on". It shows you every draft and sends only when you reply "send". It never deletes your email. Say "disconnect google" and the access is revoked on the spot; say "delete my data" to erase everything. Google may show a "this app is not verified" screen while Doni is small; tap Advanced → Continue.
Can I change a poster after I get it?
Yes. Reply to it with what to change: "make the price bigger", "change Saturday to Sunday", "use my logo", and Doni redoes it. Send your own photo and it works from that instead of inventing a product.
Do I have to type the exact command?
No. "check mail", "any new emails?", "wetin dey my inbox", "my schedule tmrw", "remnd me tomorow 4pm" all land. Doni fixes common misspellings of the command words (video, poster, remind, calendar, gmail, email…) before it reads the message, and the same request can be said many ways. If it still does not get you, it says what it understood so you can nudge it.
What language should I write in?
English is best, and Nigerian English works fine, "omo I just burn 8500 on fuel o" is understood as an expense, not a riddle. Doni replies in the language you wrote in.
